NSN shines at the Volta a Catalunya and the Volta ao Alentejo

Brady Gilmore and Ethan Vernon triumph in Catalunya; Jens Verbrugghe leads in Portugal

This past week of March, NSN’s teams delivered outstanding performances on two fronts. The NSN Cycling Team competed in the Volta a Catalunya, where the fourth day belonged to Ethan Vernon in Camprodón. “It’s a very special race for me – my first professional win was here in 2022, and this is my third, now with NSN, in the home city of our new sponsor, so this one is just as special,” the British rider commented after his victory.

The final stage was equally memorable: Brady Gilmore, the Australian neo-pro, sprinted to his first WorldTour win in Montjuic, with NSN co-founder Andrés Iniesta watching from the team car. “An incredible day. It’s amazing to win with Andrés in the car, showing him our race plan in the morning and then executing it like this… I’m honestly lost for words,” Gilmore said.

Meanwhile, the NSN Development Team dominated the Volta ao Alentejo in Portugal. Jens Verbrugghe kicked off the race with a decisive win on stage 1, taking the overall lead, and followed it up with another victory on stage 5, cementing an excellent start to the competition for the team.
