50,900 spectators, two national teams and a night the Azteca will never forget

NSN organizes the legends match between Mexico and Brazil at Estadio Banorte, just days before the 2026 World Cup

On April 19, Estadio Banorte hosted the legends match between Mexico and Brazil: 50,900 spectators, icons such as Ronaldinho, Kaká, Cuauhtémoc Blanco and Rafa Márquez, and a Mexican victory by 3-2 with a brace from Oribe Peralta and a goal from Luis “El Matador” Hernández. Kaká was named MVP and Ronaldinho received a standing ovation upon substitution. The event, officially backed by the CBF, FMF, FIFA and Host City, was broadcast on VIX, TUDN, X Sports and LAYVTIME worldwide.

The night included a spectacular pyrotechnic musical show at half time and an emotional tribute to the Mexican champions of the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup, all within the context of the 2026 World Cup, turning CDMX into the stage for a historic moment in American sport.

Behind every detail of this night were NSN and Stoneweg Places & Experiences. Together they led the creation of the event from scratch: negotiation and relationship with the federations, player selection and management, operations at Estadio Banorte, ticketing, communications, international logistics and flights, and the management of sponsors and brand activations. A project built from the very first conversation to the last minute on the pitch, with one single goal: to create something that had never existed before.
