NSN South America joins forces with the Regional Government of Huancavelica and the mining company Buenaventura to grant scholarships to 200 boys and girls who will be able to learn with the Andr\u00e9s Iniesta methodology.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

The world’s first social academy has landed in Huancavelica (Peru) thanks to Iniesta Academy. Now, the children of the region can enjoy the best football and the Andr\u00e9s Iniesta methodology, with the inheritance of the Bar\u00e7a DNA from the world champion. In collaboration with the Regional Government of Huancavelica and the Buenaventura Mining Company, NSN South America launched this initiative last Wednesday, February 7th. More than 600 young people applied to receive one of the scholarships that offered the opportunity to learn in the academy, but only 200 were selected; 180 of them will train in Huancavelica and the other 20 will do so in Ccochaccasa.<\/p>\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n

Iniesta Academy Peru has conducted training for a total of 13 local coaches, three of whom are women, to enhance female presence in sports and training spaces as important as this one. In addition, in the days leading up to the start of the camp, a try-out was held to choose the lucky ones who could play in the academy. Among the selection criteria, not only were sporting skills taken into account, but also attitude, leadership, fellowship, and the desire to continue learning. Finally, after two intense days of selection, the chosen ones were announced on Sunday through the Regional Government’s website, and starting from Monday, the distribution of equipment and visits to the facilities in Ccochaccasa began.<\/p>\n\n
